How do I buy an item?
Find an item you like, click "Buy Now," select a payment method, and complete the checkout. The payment will be held securely until you receive the item.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit/debit cards and other secure payment options. Cash payments outside the platform are not supported.
Is buying on Flip and Find safe?
Yes! Your payment is held securely until you confirm that you’ve received the item as described.
What is Buyer Protection?
Buyer Protection ensures that if your item is damaged, fake, or never arrives, you can request a refund.
What if the item I receive is not as described?
If an item is damaged, fake, or significantly different from the listing, report it within 2 days of delivery to request a refund.
Can I cancel an order after payment?
Orders can only be canceled if the seller hasn’t shipped the item yet. Contact the seller or our support team as soon as possible.
How do I contact a seller?
Use the in-app messaging feature to ask sellers questions before making a purchase.
How do I list an item for sale?
Simply upload clear photos, add a description, set a price, and choose shipping options. Your listing will go live immediately!
Does Flip and Find take a commission from sales?
No listing fees! However, sellers may pay a small transaction fee when an item is sold.
How do I get paid after selling an item?
Once the buyer confirms they received the item, your funds will be released to your wallet. You can then withdraw to your bank account.
Can I sell anything?
You can sell fashion, accessories, and other second-hand items. However, prohibited items include counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, and illegal items.
What happens if the seller doesn’t ship my item?
If the seller doesn’t ship within the expected timeframe, you can request a refund.
Who covers shipping costs?
Buyers pays for shipping if total cart is less than R500
How do I ship an item after selling it?
Once your item sells, you'll receive a prepaid shipping label (if applicable). Package the item securely and drop it off at the nearest carrier location.
Can I offer local pickup?
Yes! If both the buyer and seller agree, local pickups are allowed. However, we recommend confirming payments through the platform for security.
What if my package gets lost in transit?
If a package is lost or delayed, contact customer support. In some cases, buyers may be eligible for a refund through Buyer Protection.
Can I return an item?
Returns are only accepted if the item is significantly different from the description. Buyers must report any issues within 2 days of delivery.
How do I open a dispute?
If you have an issue, go to the order page and select "Report a problem." Provide details and photos if necessary.
How long does a refund take?
Once approved, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days to the original payment method.
Can I change my username or email?
Yes, you can update your username and email under account settings.
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to close your account, go to Settings > Delete Account. Ensure all ongoing transactions are completed first.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset your password via email.
How do I report a scam or fraudulent seller?
If you suspect fraud, report the seller via the listing page or contact customer support immediately.
